The State of California, Department of General Services awarded a California Multiple Award Schedule (CMAS) contract to Guidon Technology Solutions today.
The CMAS is a long-term, state-wide procurement contract for information technology (IT) equipment. This contract vehicle will enable any department, agency, or district within the State of California to obtain commercial IT equipment quickly and easily without the burdens normally associated with commercial procurements. Any government buyer who places an order against a CMAS contract is considered to have met state regulations regarding competition, pricing and other socio-economic requirement.
As a CMAS contract holder, Guidon Technology Solutions passed rigorous screening tests for quality, responsibility and reliability. “Government buying offices ordering from Guidon’s CMAS contract save time, money can be assured of receiving the highest quality of customer service,” said Houston Durand, Guidon’s Chief Operations Officer. “Exceeding customer expectations is the hallmark of our business, and this new contract vehicle will bring our services to contracting offices state-wide without the inconvenience of an open solicitation.”
